“It is one of the fastest-growing provinces in Mindanao. Industry, trade and tourism have put the province in the spotlight,” former special assistant to the President Bong Go said.
Christopher “Bong” Go EXPRESSED HIS SUPPORT for the local government of Davao Oriental in promoting the province as a major investment hub in Region 11 during the “Invest in DavOr 2018” in Mati City where Go was the keynote speaker.
During the event, the province and its component city and 10 municipalities pitched their investment priority areas to investors from the region and Southeast Asian countries.
Davao Oriental Eco-Industrial Park is so far the biggest project of the province of Davao Oriental under the Build Build Build program headed by Governor Nelson Dayanghirang.
“We should disseminate the information that Davao Oriental welcomes investments in the province as they will create jobs” Go said.
The 1,500-hectare industrial park will soon rise in Banaybanay, Davao Oriental which according to Gov.Dayanghirang, it will generate 10,000 jobs not just in Davao Oriental but also in the entire Davao Region.
Highlight of the project is the free elegant and quality housing for all affected settlers. The relocation site will have its own public market, schools, hospitals, new baranggay halls etc.
Davao Oriental Eco-Industrial Park (DOEIP) is being managed by Collaborative Industrial Revolution Inc. DOEIP is a partnership dream project of the Province of Davao Oriental and the Pionaire Finance Limited.
